As Kentucky’s top rescuer of Boxers since 1998, we have many wonderful Boxer dogs available for adoption. Central Kentucky Boxer Rescue’s Boxers are adopted to indoor homes only. All of our Boxers have been spayed/neutered; there are no exceptions to this rule. Many of our Boxers have received basic obedience training, and most are crate trained/house trained. An adoption donation fee is required to adopt one of our Boxers and the fee will be posted on the Boxer’s profile page. This fee is used to pay for all of our Boxer’s healthcare needs. Often times the medical expense of a particular dog will be more than the listed adoption fee, but we have set adoption fees and use fundraising throughout the year to help offset the difference. Most of our Boxers come from high kill shelters; since they have a euthanasia deadline they are our top priority. Some of our Boxers have been surrendered by their owners due to divorce, death, financial problems, moving, or other reasons. If you are interested in adopting from our rescue, please fill out an Adoption Application today. We thoroughly screen applicants, check references and complete a home visit. We reserve the right to deny any application. We do not place our rescued Boxers “first come, first serve”; we strive to make the best possible placement for each dog and all factors will be considered before a forever family is selected.
